VNA Hospice & Home Health of Lackawanna County, also serving surrounding communities, is a not-for-profit agency, with its history rooted in the original Visiting Nurse Association that has served our communities since 1895 and started as the District Nurses. Since then, VNA has positioned itself as a leader in the region for the provision of  home health and hospice services, annually reaching thousands of patients, families and friends in Northeastern Pennsylvania. It is important for our patients and families to know that we are accredited by the Joint Commission and are Medicare certified.  We also have certifications in wound care and palliative care.

Our VNA Mission: is to provide a continuum of care with comfort and compassion for all residents of Lackawanna County and surrounding communities.

Our VNA Goal: Give comfort to you and peace of mind to your family. At VNA our patients and families come first!
